No. Cancer and genetic-related services available through your membership are delivered by Kadance, an independent precision health management company. Your results are never shared with your insurance company or any other organization without your permission.

Will my personal and genetic data be safe? How will it be stored?
Yes. We take this extremely seriously. Kadance complies with all applicable laws, regulations, privacy policies, and other relevant requirements pertaining to the collection, storage, transmission, use, or other processing or protection of member data. Kadance employs standard encryption and key management practices for data in storage and at rest.
Will the genetic test results become a part of my medical record?
Not unless you choose to inform your physician. Most people only tell their physician if they have an elevated cancer risk.
How are the Kadance Hereditary Cancer Risk Test and Kadance Pharmacogenomic (PGx) Test performed, and how long does it take to get results?
The Kadance Hereditary Cancer Risk Test and Kadance Pharmacogenomic Test are simple, do-it-yourself, non-invasive cheek swab tests performed at home and mailed to Kadance's testing laboratory. Results are typically returned within 2-3 weeks after the sample is received at the laboratory. The hereditary cancer risk test is available on Day 1 of your membership. The PGx test is available after you report a cancer diagnosis and enter the next phase of your membership.
How does Kadance Complete work if I have Medicare, Medicaid, or other health insurance?
Kadance Complete is designed to complement existing health plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. It is separate from your health insurance and does not depend on your current coverage. There are no copays, deductibles, coinsurance, or out-of-pocket costs for included program services.
